Reflexology

About Reflexology

Reflexology is a gentle and usually enjoyable holistic therapy which encourages the body to regain its own equilibrium. It is suitable for all ages and most conditions as it can be adapted to suit individual needs.

Reflexology works by applying pressure to reflex points on the feet (or hands) which correspond to and are linked to every part of the body. So by treating the feet (or hands) we are treating the whole body.

Reflexology is not a quick fix or a magic cure and it will take several treatments before you can tell if it is going to be helpful for you. A one off treatment can be enjoyable and deeply relaxing and a short series of treatments can bring relief of symptoms or desired improvements in function. Many clients come weekly 6 - 10 times to deal with their most pressing health issue and then come fortnightly or monthly to help to maintain their health.
